Advice on 2005 and 2006 transmissions pls
Hello,
I am very seriously considering a used XC90, 7 seater - just had an addition to the family which makes 3 kids. I'm just now finding out about all the transmission problems with the 6 cylinders. If I do get a used one, it will definitely be a 5 cylinder, likely the 2.5t (better mileage I'm told). Can anyone let me know when the GM transmissions were no longer used? Is a 5 cylinder 2005 or 2006 using the GM tranny?
