I am a fairly new owner of the XC90 and made a dumb mistake this morning. I turned off my car without putting it in park. The car rolled slowly and the damage was luckily very minimal (the ropes on a parking garage work :-) )

I previously had an Audi where if I turned off the car while still in Drive / Reverse, it would make a loud alert. I just tried to recreate what I did this morning in my XC90 to make sure what I correctly identified what I did - as my settings are now, if I turn off my XC90 - but leave it in Drive - it'll show an error on dash - but does not have any sort of sound alert, etc. Is there a way to either turn on a sound alert if I leave my car in Drive when I have turned it off or a setting to have the car automatically engage in park when turning it off?

Obviously the best answer is for me to just put it in park and I learned this lesson - but did want to try to take every safety measure if possible going forward.
