I have a 2005 XC90 and want to install a Britax child seat facing the rear for my 8 mo. old child. Does this car have anchors to anchor the car seat when it is rear facing? I have looked in the car and in the manual and have not seen them.

 

I don't know, but did you try the service advisor? ( at the dealer)

 

The anchors are in place immediately behind the driver's and passenger's seats (the integrated booster is in the middle), and the anchors shouls work for both types of seats. I drive a 99V70XC and the same anchors are used for both my infant seat and my toddler seat without sacrificing any safety.
