Conflicting HVAC temperature
Hello, I have a 2005 xc90 2.5T FWD with rear AC.
Lately I have noticed the driver side temperature is at least 15 degrees warmer than the passenger side. The passenger side is ice cold.
So far I have removed the air filter for best airflow possible while troubleshooting.
Ive cleaned out the temperature sensor on the CCM and verified its spinning.
Visually inspected the fan, no debris or weird noises and seems to be operating correctly. No funky smells.
Ive visually watched the damper motors and arms while cycling the temperature controls to ensure they are functioning. I even removed the motor from the driver side (not an easy task) and manually cycled all the dampers to ensure they are closed. Still much warmer on the drivers side.
I put a borescope camera into the air filter housing and the evaporator looks immaculate, no debris or rusting that I can see, certainly not clogged by any means. Im running out of ideas here. Any advice would be much appreciated.
