Default Credit card stuck

My credit card slid behind the small compartment in front of the gear selector, underneath the volume ****. Anyone had success getting behind the compartment without completely removing the center console?

Might get a quicker answer by calling the service department. I'm sure they've seen it a few times.

Default Access via passenger console cover

Pop off the fabric cover on the passenger. You can see my credit card (orange) in the picture

Cover removed. Just pull on the panel.

Now I'm curious, in the lower left of the bottom photo just left of center, there appears a shaft of some sort to turn 'SOMETHING'. What could that be??? Curious mind here LOL.

Below the wiring harnesses in the nicely framed opening?
That is the shifter cable.

Darn it, now I feel stupid, I should have thought of that but mine's a T8 and the connections there are all electronic. I'm so ingrained with everything being electronic, the mechanical means didn't even register :-(

If it's not possible to pull the card out in one piece, without further disassembly, I would consider carefully cutting the card and removing it piece by piece. Good luck.

Could you give a little instruction on how to remove this panel? I don't want to break any fasteners when I pull mine off so that i can't get it back on again. Thanks!

Ok, I actually found another post on the UK forum. I used the pic they had posted but marked where the clips are. I should have taken my own pics. For anyone trying this, it was easy, and pretty easy to get the credit card out. Mine was in the same place as Driftless's orange card.
