On a few occasions, on longer trips, we have noticed a burning smell in the cabin. It usually doesn't last too long. But the dash, just above the driver's temrature control **** is often too hot to touch. Any ideas?

Same problem. After about an hour of driving, get a electrical burn smell in passenger compartment and area near fan control and driver's temp control very hot.
