Is there a test to definitely find out if it's the DIM or the CEM is faulty? I want to make sure I'm sending Xemodex the right part to fix. Thanks!

 

Not really. Unless you have VIDA and even then it isn't always easy.

What are your symptoms?

 

So, I'm driving and all of a sudden the red triangle lights up with the brake ABS FAILURE warning light. Then turn signal is intermittent. Windows and radio stopped working. After that, the entire DIM SHUTS off, no tach, no lights. But the car drives fine. Pull over and turn the car off, wait for a click then turn it on. Everything works fine. It hasn't happened since two weeks ago. The outside temp was 102 degrees.
