Thing is, that most model cars have the odd lemon here and there... The Volvo P2 T6 S80 has the odd good one here and there.... You got a good one and you're lucky.... But because it is what it is, that specific model is known as a POS.... Not your particular one, maybe, but generally, that's what it is.

Just like the pre-2007 XC90s with the T6 engine..... It is extremely rare to find someone who owns one and never had transmisson problems.... They either did, or they will.... But sooner or later, they do !!! Therefore, that specific model is known as a POS... Heck, even knowledgeable used car dealers won't have anything to do with it... at any price !!!!

There's no reason to loose it because someone says your model car is a POS... Most likely you know exactly what you own and that comment was no surprise to you at all..... Maybe the fact that this specific time was the one too many, justifies your reaction...... But at least you are smart enough to be ahead in maintenance and know that you can't slack in that department, otherwise you'll most likely live one of those love/hate relationship....
