Can anyone tell me if the XC90 comes with a 6 disc changer? We do NOT want the Touring Package as it gets you a WOOD steering wheel and those are just terrible here in Chicago during the winter. Come to think of it, they are terrible year round (cold in winter, hot in summer, slippery all the time).

But I can't tell if the 6-disc changer is standard on the V8 - and my dealer for some reason wants us to get the 2.5t over the V8.

 

I think 6-disc cd is NOT std. on V8 - we got it as part of the touring package, and I do not like "wood" steering, but got used to it. it is cold in winter and hot in summer. The good part is it should look "new" even in 10 -15 years.

 

Turns out it is! At least per the brochure! Now the Q comes down to if the V8 is worth $3,500 more. Actually the V8 has the overboosted steering - so it might just be the 2.5t. Nothing like a $51K car with a 5 cylinder!
