Hi there team! I got 2007 XC90 3.2 AWD. Straight 6 non turbo petrol. 90'000 km ODO.
There is slight vibration on acceleration and little kick when you shift from R to D or vise versa. Vibration is also noticed when reversing uphill. Engine and transmission itself work smooth and with no miss, so Im pretty sure its one of the mounts gone but which one? Local garage told me to replace ALL mounts even without looking under the car, but I think its one or two mounts gone, not all. Can you please advice which mounts are likely to fail first?? Maybe its gearbox mounts which Im after ?? Please help, thanks

 

try the top torque mount first. I just replaced mine and it make a HUGE difference. Its cheap if you get the hutchinson one (same as volvo).
