Hello all.
Ok I have a 04 xc90 t5 with 135.034 miles and still going strong. However I have noticed on 3 different occations while driving with the cruise on ( flat ground). That the screen lights up and says engine protect mode and it derates. So I have to pull over and cut it off then restart and all is fine. Since I use the cruise a lot this has only occurred like I said 3 times. Everything looks good and there are no Volvo dealers in my area just the usual Chevy, Ford, Dodge, Subaru, Kia, ect. Any ideals would be helpful and yes I do know my way around vehicles as I am a retired auto mechanic myself. Thanks
