Exhaust midsection connection problems - catalytics conversion efficiency errors
Hello team,
after flex pipes rusted out I have replaced the midsection, but while connecting the midsection to the front-section (from manifold with main cat bottles) I have broken off one bolt on each connector.
As a result, some air is getting in and the sensors are triggering catalyst inefficiency warnings.
Any suggestions on how to re-attach those without pretty much removing the subframe to get to the front-section of the exhaust?
An alternative might be to just fuse the connections with something to stop any leaks.
Looking for any macgivering to fix it.
Thank you.

are you talking about the bolts that hold the two pipe sections together? LOL, we've all broken one of those... On some cars the bolt is just pushed through and can be pressed out - on others it may need to be drilled out and then you can replace with a through bolt. A lot easier to do if you can put the car on a lift...
