03 xc 90 sometimes won't start when it does run fine.interfarence to crank shaft sensor. Dealer said mating surface between engine and transmission dirty.i pulled out starter and cleaned mating surface and bellhousing surface and now car starts every time .dealer wanted 1700 dollar to fix, hope this helps
