2008 XC90 157k. Has anyone had fuse 29 / ejector pump blowing? Its in the fuse box under the steering wheel. I think the ejector pump is part of the fuel pump and circulates fuel from the opposite side of the tank. My car has stalled for years when the tank gets low. Any ideas on cause? Im thinking the ejector pump may have a short and I need to swap out the fuel pump unit.

Could be clogged or the hose is kinked. Do you know if anyone has replaced the fuel pump?

 

i am the original owner and never changed the pump.

 

Then yes, I agree you should start with replacement of the pump assembly.
