Hi guys

Today my 2004 xc90 2.9 t6 was driving fine, parked up for an hour, got back in it, put it in drive, and didn't move just revving, no warning lights on the dash either. I put in Tiptronic and first gear was revving high but moving slightly, but as soon as flicked up in to 2nd it was perfect and all other gears apart from 1st? What could this be? Has only done 80k with full Volvo history!

Did it do it any more than this one time ? Have you checked the fluid level ?

 

No first time it's done it, but 2nd etc are fine, left it for an hour and tried again and still the same
