The high beam comes on at random times on my 2017 xc90. It sometimes happens when I use the indicator and, at other times, on its own. Attempts to turn it off don't always work. I'm wondering if it's a hardware or software issue. On some occasions, it repeatedly goes on and off. I'm concerned it cause a road rage event.

 

Might be a damaged turn signal switch. (they get damaged with knees, frustrated drivers and stuff) Wiggle it and see what happens
