Default High Beam Failure

I have a 04 XC90 and can't get the high beams to work. The blue
indicator on the dash is on and high beam L & R fuses appear to be ok
but no high beams. Any suggestions. Many thanks. Phil

Do they flash when you pull on the switch?

I have the same problem. bulb and fuses are fine. High beam on - on the dash. low beams rotate.......still no high beams. Fuse box has power. Is this a relay problem?
Please advise on how to fix.

I have a similar question. When I switch the high beams on, I see a flash, but on normal cars, the regular beams are outer, high beams are inner. We bought the car used but I think it has the Xenons...basically if I do NOT put the headlights on, and it is dark, they are on and so are interior lights. So the only way I've known I didn't have my headlights "on" was because I"d go to switch to high and nothing would happen.

Back to my question. I flick the high beams. THey flash, it seems like they are aiming higher, but seriously NO ONE high beams me and I feel like my field of vision isn't as big as I'd like it to be. Should I see additional lights come on, or are the high beams the same as the low beams and they are just aimed in a different direction? So confused. Please help.
