HHad a question about minimum tire tread for a certified preowned, I read that it is 4 on the site but a mechanic at the dealer said he thought it was 6.


I ask as I bought a 2009 CPO xc90R with 42000 on it in August and it now has 48K miles , during the most recent service they recomended New tires, as there is a pull in the steering. Current tread wa 9, 4, 4, 5 on the four tires. I am curious if this went out of the dealer with ample rubber on the tires 6 K ago. or if I was shorted?

These Tires are expensive and I am curious if the dealer may need to correct his issue, I find it hard to believe after 6 K I need new tires on a CPO..


Any one have any feeback.

 

I thought it was 4 but I don't have the sheet in front of me. It's listed right on the inspection form, which they should have a copy of.

 

Sorry, but after 8 months it will be difficult to get the Dealer to give you any help. Should have been addressed when you first took delivery, or shortly thereafter.
