No brakes after vacuum pump reseal kit
Just installed two new orings on the vacuum pump, one for the oil side and one for the vacuum side. The hose going to the pump is intact and was not damaged.
I do have brakes and good pedal feel when engine is revved. Once at idle no brakes and cant drive.
Any common issues I may have overlooked?
Appreciate any tips.

removed the hose and it is producing vacuum but will be impossible to gauge if its the correct amount. There was no issues prior to touching it and I will open it again to ensure everything was done correct.
I may also just purchase a new aftermarket pump.

I didnt change the plastic nozzle on the pump side and debating between another oring kit with the plastic adapter or just go for a new aftermarket pump, curious of your opinion on these aftermarket pumps.quality.
Also do these pumps have a lifespan and again just trying to figure out if I should rebuild my original once more this time with the top plastic nozzle or go for an aftermarket which are about $100 Car has 139k miles.

Well today I finally got it all figured out, I never changed that plastic check valve on the pump but brakes were working fine. Today with new kit that included this plastic check valve that snaps into the pump, everything is working fine.
The new valve fits much more snug inside the pump than the old which allowed air to be sucked in from around it, why was it working prior is possibly because it was barely sitting in and once disturbed it was now lose. The main cause of the issue is not the oring or the check valve itself but the plastic shrinks and definitely needs to be replaced, I never did because it was working fine prior and thought there was no need. Once it is disturbed, it needs to be replaced or dont do as I did and replace the orings without this valve. It comes with the kit for a reason and if your brakes are working fine it should still be replaced. In fact out of the entire system it is probably the most critical and allowed the most air to leak by.
