Pulls left while braking...Control arm problem?
Hi
Just purchased a used, but new to me, 2005 Volvo XC90, V8.
Only while braking, the car seems to pull to the left, again only when brakes are applied. It is most noticeable at highway speeds above 50mph. Being a decent shady tree mechanic myself, I thought the issue was a bad caliper, so I replaced both front calipers, lubed up the guide pins, rebled the brakes, etc. Problem still seems to persist, the car pulls at a noticeable amount to the left while braking.
Doing some searching in these great forums, one individual mentioned it could be a bad front control arm bushing? This was for a different make/model in the forum post.
Curious what you experts think could be the problem?

Pulls left while braking
Had the same problem which was exacerbated by snow – it is a control arm (bushing) problem. Bought the car with new brakes all around – when I had the problem - most of the posting I had read pointed to cracked / worn or totally destroyed bushings. Decided to replace both arms, problem solved. Hope this helps you out
