('05 2.5t) Our radio has been acting up for years - radio works randomly, can't switch station - now it's completely out. Park assist is out too - seems to be at the same time.

Q's:
1) I see a lot of post about the radio - not surprised - do people also find their park assist going out (reverse/back up warning) along with their radio?
2) Is there a way to remove the face plate on the radio/center console? (In the past I've vacuumed around the ***** and it seems to change things - not really help, just change the problems - my thinking is if I could really get in there and clean it might help) There was a good post about removing the radio (http://www.fitaudio.com/?View=entry&EntryID=57) but I'm looking for something a little less involved at first.
3) Can one get an aftermarket radio that still looks nice/fits well in the center console?
