Rear wheel bearings info request

Rear wheel bearings info request
I have read through the previous posts about the rear wheel bearing problems. Most are from AWD owners, mine is an FWD model.
I have also looked through several parts sites for additional information and associated parts/special tools etc required for the rear wheel bearing assembly replacement. From the postings the actual replacement may not be that difficult a task.
Are there any more details that can be shared? ie: special lubricants, torque specs, sealants or thread lockers, etc.
Thanks.
As a secondary issue, where can I find a repair manual for the '04 XC90? I have not found any online resources for that item yet.

RE: Rear wheel bearings info request
Since I am an 850 driver, I am unable to answer your questions. However, have the recalls done at the dealer (free of charge) if not done yet:

Newer Volvo seems to use electronic service manuals only (VADIS/VIDA), and at the moment no one (Haynes, Chilton, etc...) seems to have been publishing manuals for newer Volvos. Not sure why.
The XC90 forum seems slow, so in case if you did not receive any reply within a day or two, try posting threads in General Volvo Chat.
I hope this gets you started. Wish you luck.
