Can someone shed some light on this subject. Is it possible to add a remote start to the XC90? If yes, how difficult is it?

I'd try an alarm/sound system shop-they may have an idea.

Is the car still under warranty? Remote start will definitely void it (at least engine/starting system/ tranny)

 

It is possible [8D], I got it done last weekend on my 2004 XC90 T6. Make sure they install second accessory in order to get AC/Heat to work when you remote start your car. Link below will take you to what i had installed. Hope this helps.
