I am planning on replacing the front brake rotors on my 2009 FWD XC90 with 3.2 L motor. Upon checking several sources for OEM rotors, I find rotors with three different diameters listed for my car. These are: 316mm, 328mm and 336mm. How do I determine which is the right size without removing the wheel from the car and measuring the rotor diameter?????
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hello Dan578. Did you get a reply to the rotor size question? I have a 2009 Volvo XC90 with 18 inch tires but need to know my rotor size also. Any update is appreciated!

 

When I replaced pads for the first time even the dealer did not know so you will have to measure. I bought both and returned the others. Second brake job on spec at 150k kms I knew they were 336 mm and also replaced the rotors.

 

Mine is 7 passenger, maybe that makes a difference.

 

You can always call he dealer and see if they can give you he correct information all they need is the VIN and they can see the vehicle details in VIDA

 

If any of you have a question as to which brake system your XC90 has,Post your VIN of the vehicle in question and Ill post which brake system it has on it.

 

Got my rotors. I hope they are a the right size. I think they are 336mm.
