Second Row Middle Seat Backrest Strap
Have a 2016 XC-90 R-Design. I fold the middle seat backrest quite often. When I went to raise the middle seat backrest, the webbed strap broke and pulled out of the housing. The backrest is now stuck in the down position. I ordered a new strap from Volvo OEM but cannot find any instructions on how to remove the seatbelt housing to install the new strap. Any advice is appreciated.

I ended up buying the strap at an online Volvo Parts site. Once received it was quite easy to fix as long as you have a star bit screwdriver. Easiest access if from the 3rd row seat. Push the left and right middle seats as far forward as possible and the middle seat as far back as possible. The latch will be fully accessible and easy to change.
