Side Mirror Doesn't Turn Down in Reverse
Hey gang - Wondering if anyone else has had this issue...
On my 2011 3.2L, the passenger side mirror used to turn down to see the curb when Reverse was engaged, now it doesn't. The seat memory functions still save and adjust both mirrors fine, but the passenger side doesn't turn down any more when Reverse is engaged.
Saw a couple of online forum posts which talked about removing fuses 5, 6 and 12, then reinserting, but that was for the side mirror assemblies folding in - not the mirror itself. Tried it anyway with no results. The mirrors fold in just fine when I press the button on the center console. Anyway - considering the memory settings successfully adjust the seat and mirrors, it seems like it shouldn't be a bad fuse...more like an ECM programming issue.
I've tried every setting/combination I can think of; changing the seat/mirror memory settings; putting the car in reverse and pressing the right or left mirror button, then and adjusting down, then deselecting each mirror; setting seat memory with it folded down; selecting either the left mirror or the right before putting it in reverse... Nothing seems to work.
Thoughts?

Checking in again to see if anyone has had this issue and knows the fix…
It’s funny; once you get used to a feature like this, it’s hard to live without it! Both of my other cars have it and every time I drive the Volvo I’m annoyed by the fact that it doesn’t work now. 😄
