Well, since my 2006 AWD V8 XC90isn;t Sirius ready (2007 models are) I have a PNP Sirius S50 that I'd like to plug directly into the antenna on the back of the head unit. Currently, I'm using the FM transmitter option and as you well know, it works great in some areas but the more you travel, the more frequently you find yourself searching for a free FM frequency. Question: How do I get to the back of the head unit to get to the antenna? Furthermore, is this even possible - I.E does the head-unit have an antenna/aux input? Also, will any work I do void the warranty? A million thanks in advance for your help and I look forward to the responses.

 

There is no Aux input on XC90 2004-2006. FM modulation is the only way to go unless you are an electrical enginneer and are also familiar with fiber optics.
