I am driving a 2017 XC90. About 2 months ago, a software update Service 2.0 was done during a visit to my dealer. I didn't realize it at the time but my iPhone Text readout has been deleted from being activated in the center console. When I go to the Communications settings all capability under Text Messages is "Grayed Out" and nothing can be selected. Neither my iPhone X or my wife's iPhone 7 now has any capability for receiving notification of Text Messages or read outs in our Volvo. Has this capability been inadvertently deleted in the software 2.O update?

 

Does your phone still pair to the car?

 

Yes, my phone pairs. Problem mostly solved as I needed to got into Bluetooth on phone and turn on notifications. Now I do receive some texts but others just on the phone. System does not seem to be consistent or reliable.
