Default Tie Rod Ends - question on parts and repair

2008 Volvo XC 90 - 87K miles.

I have a bad tie rod, drivers side, and I will most likely replace both since I will need an alignment. I have done this repair numerous times on other vehicles and checking to see if there is any concern for this car. I didn't see a castle nut on the tie rod, is Volvo a little different?

Also, I am not a fan of paying for Volvo OEM parts and looking for any recommendation of parts. I am thinking of going Lumfoerder as this is what I use on BMW's and view it as a top end part.

What did you see holding the tie rod end ?
You buy what you have the most confidence in. The tie rod is a very important ( as many items are on your car) part , how much are you going to save ?
