In regards to the thread title timing belt precautions. is it really that much to replace a timing belt 700$$$? and i was talking to a tech a guy that actually works on these cars and ive known him for a long time hes done the work on both my volvos he said if i do it at 105,000 i will be fine idk who to beleive anymore... someone help me out.

 

My experience - follow the book recommendations for replacement at 105k.
