I have a code p0717 turbine speed sensor no output. I ma trying to locate the sensor and cannot. I have heard that the wiring plug goes bad on this part so i want to check it out before i take it to a shop. can any one help me. Also is this sensor on the inside or outside of the trans ??

 

Did you ever resolve this? I have a '04 XC90 T6 w/ 107k miles and has a new volvo transmission (7k miles ago)...today my check engine light came on and gave me the same code P7017 "Turbin input speed sensor no signal". Not sure where this sensor is on the transmission. Anybody know?
