Hi guys,

Quick question for you. Have a 2003 XC90 with 120k miles so it is obviously up there in age. Recently I've noticed that the steering is very noisy, particularly at low speeds and particularly when the car is getting warmed up (first 10 mins or so of driving). Also when I start the car it's pretty noisy as well, sort of a whirling sound. Any thoughts on what this could be? A potentially bad sign to get looked at or just old car noises? Thanks!

 

Have you checked the power steering fluid level?
