Dear friends,
I got a volvo xc90 t6 on 2004 Model.

In the dash board i saw the message "Transmission Service Urgent" and then i checked with autoboss scanner and the fault is comming about Solenoid S1 faulty then i open the transmission and change the solenoid s1 after that i fix back the transmission and check again with the scanner and erase all the fault code. Now its coming the different fault code " input speed sensor signal missing" then i open it back and change the speed sensor and fix back .
Surprisely its ok....no more fault code is coming in the dash board. then i go for test drive and keep it 1 night. after next day suppose to going send back the car to customer and unfortunately on the middle way the fault code has came back again......"Transmission Service Urgent"

I check again with the auto boss and now the new fault code is
"0002A-gear3 ratio"

Please try to assist me how do i solve this problem ??

 

is it the GM-4T65E tranny thats in there or has it been swapped with the volvo tranny? it could just require a reboot? did you reset the computer reload the software?

 

You need to do a Glycol test on the transmission fluid. Most likely you will find that the fluid is contaminated with coolant. In this case Transmission, Radiator, Transmission oil cooler and oil cooler lines will need to be replaced. Is. there any debris in the oil pan? Definate sign TU=replace.
