Please help, any idear.
I am a proud owner of a 2006 Volvo xc90 v8.
Started the car in the morning, everything was OK and decided to clean the windscreen, the wiper worked only there was no water spraying. Found out the motor attached to the water reservoir had packed up.
Stopped the engine, locked up the car and went to purchase a replacement and fixed it. I decide to try out the new motor to spray water on the windscreen.
First the remote for the car did not work, had to use the key to unlock the door, no sound, put the key in the ignition, no sound, no indications on the dash, started the car and it responded. Then I noticed the following, the radio, seats, windows, a/c, sunroof, remote, interior lights are all not working, but external lights works.

did you test the battery and check fuses?

 

Yes I did, checked all the fuses and also checked the battery bus beside the battery for corrosion, brought out the cem, no corrosion, sparkling clean.

 

The symptoms all point to a blown fuse. I had the same experience before but it was not caused by changing the same part. The car was drive-able, but electronics were not.
