2009 Volvo XC90 3.2 engine with close to 400Km.
I have been trying to locate a vacuum leak for a while, and smoke test after a lot of smoking showed a tiny escape under the crankshaft pulley.
My serpentine belt ripped about 2K ago, and when replacing it I noticed a bit of oil leaking from under the crankshaft pulley seal. Sometimes this happens on these engines. Replacing the seal fixes it.
At that time I have replaced the seal, and I remember the axle the seal goes around being quite sturdy.
When replacing it, I just pressed the seal on with a larger socket, this I later understood to be incorrect, so I bought that special tool that puts on the seal correctly and wanted to use this opportunity to fix the leak and replace the seal.
However, when I got to the pulley I noticed that it wobbles like crazy and has eaten away the seal completely, no wonder there is a leak.

Can anyone please suggest what might be at play here and what the repair procedure might be?
I would also appreciate a good mechanic close to Vaughan, Ontario, something tells me I need to remove the engine seals and the whole auxiliary assembly. Might want to change the chain and tensioners. while I am there.
So far I have put everything back with the new seal, but I suspect that it will eat through it within days.
Any advise is greatly appreciated.
Thank you.
I have done some more digging and think that this bearing has gone the way of Dodo, part 26. However, there is no PN for it in the inventory, can anyone please help out with the part number and whether or not it is replaceable without taking off the main covers?
