Default XC90 2007 alarm going off

New volvo owner with a 2007 XC90.
The alarm keeps going off for no apperant reason. I have been reading a lot about this before posting, but could not find a solution.
It started when I had left the glove box open one night, and likely drained the battery. Went off seversl times until i disconnected the battery.
Replaced battery with a new, alarm still got off randomly
Removed siren fuse #8, alarm still got off likely powered by the siren battery
Removed the siren module. Battery and PCB was fine. Alarm still goes off without the siren. Battery voltage is good.
Now I would either like to disable the alarm compleatly or find out what triggers it so I can repair it.
I understand that the alarm has to be disable by the dealer with a software download. Is this correct? Any other way to do it?
How can I find out what triggers the alarm? Do I need Vida? I suspect that it could be the movement sensor and will be testing with disabeling the sensor before locking the car.
Are there other ways to test the alarm system? This is a bit annoying and I would be very gratefull if anyone can help me fix this, hopefully without involving the dealer.
