Default XC90 Air Leak - Does This Sound Right?

After two days at the dealership, the mystery cold air leak on the drivers side footwell has been found - they think...

Apparently there is a fuse box cover of some type that is missing. I was not able to ask of the fuse box is on the 'engine side' of the firewall or on the passenger compartment side...

Does this sound plausable to any of you folks? As the XC90 is a new car to us, I'm not certain myself. I guess it is possible that if a cover is missing from a fuse panel... and is in the right location... a cold air draft on the LH side of the drivers footwell could be created.

What do you guys think? Does this make sense?

Could be very possible.

What you need to do is when you go to pick it up tell them to show you where it was leaking from and the cover that was missing.

yes, there is a fuse box under the hood on the driver's side -and a big box it is. Most of the wiring should go inside the car, so cold air would go there too..
Let us know what happen.
