Hello, I've got problem with my xc90 '07 volvo's rear bevel gear. I changed it's pump ( old one was burnt, i dont even know why), for some time i had a feeling that my rear wheels is not driving as they should. Today i tried to see if my guess is right, and my guess was right. Maybe you know where should I search for problems?

 

First step would be to scan the entire car, especially the DEM for codes - If there is an electronic problem there should be a code that will give you a hint of what to check. You mentioned the "pump was burnt" - A common problem is the pump shorts out and fries the DEM.
