xc90 entertainment system questions
We just bought an '05 XC90 V8 with 95,000 miles.
We have the rear DVD system and i have a question... I want to copy my DVDs to have a copy in the car and the original in the house... will the copied DVDs work in the player in the Volvo?
Also, how about MP3 CDs... will they work in the in-dash CD changer?

Hey-
I only use iPod's in my xc90 via the Aux IN jack, so I don't have any experience with the CD changer. I haven't bought the DVD player either...
You may have already experimented with this, but I know from my experiences with audio gear that some CD players are finicky with various types of CD-R's. For example, some CD-R's might be 70minutes while another at 80minutes. Try the smaller capacity of what you can find - these have proved to be the most compatible of what I have used.
Also, with DVD-R's, I think that DVD-R(-) is the most compatible as opposed to DVD-R(+). You could try several types of disks to see if it makes a difference. Hope this is helpful!
