I am the owner of an XC90 D5 (2018) and the headlights have both started to deteriorate from the inside out. I have been to the garage where the car was purchased and they have removed the front of the car and established there has been no impact damage to either the car or the headlight directly but Volvo are using every excuse under the sun to not have to replace the lights for me although this is clearly a manufacturing issue. I have also been in contact with another owner of the same year car who has the problem starting with his lights which backs up my theory of a manufacturing problem. I would love to know if anyone has replaced a headlight recently that they had thought had been struck by a stone or has had the same issue that was resolved by Volvo.
