Anyone have any idea what this part is? found it where the Jack and the battery compartment is, just lying in there. Everything has been working, rear windshield wiper works fine, can't find an obvious place it would plug into.

That is a gas door lock motor. Have you ever had one changed on it?
Maybe they left the old one in there.

 

Thanks, no never had it changed, but we bought it last Nov, came off of a lease, so it is possible it was left before, Thanks for clearing that up!

 

You can just throw it away.
