Exclamation XC90 no blinkers, one speed windshield wiper, no high beams

Hello,

Currently my 2005 Volvo XC90 has the following issues:

*blinkers do not work
*front windshield wipers only work on one speed
*high beams don't work
*back windshield wiper won't work
*anytime I go up a hill the engine begins to cut out and sometimes the check engine light flashes or comes on and stays on for awhile and then shuts off

We have tried discounting the battery, discounting the batter with the key in first position, cleaning the battery connectors

Any help is GREATLY appreciated!!

Default All happened at the same time

These all happened at the same time and we did not have anything done to the car at the time.

We have checked all fuses already.

Sounds like a bad steering wheel module

Default XC90 no blinkers, no high beams, wipers one speed...

I am having this exact same problem--except the hill/engine cutting out. Also volume controls and station controls not working at all on the steering wheel. Had all fuses replaced within the past 6 months. Had all wiring and main computer replaced in the last 3 months. Was your issue the steering wheel module? Any help is greatly appreciated!!
Thank you!

Default symptoms

From what I have read , the CEM can cause these problems too. Contact Xemodex and consult them . They can test modules to verify if they are good / bad . They have YouTube videos that cover R&R procedure also ,

I had my CEM replaced a few months ago as it was corroded and causing random no start /fuel issues. I have had everything major replaced and all wiring checked as we were trying to identify this first issue...newly relocated fuel module, new starter, new hoses, new timing belt, new immobilizer, all new spark plugs, all wiring checked, etc. $4000 out of pocket, $7000 in total repairs including the dealer gratis work.

Everything I read leads me to believe it is the steering control module--if my CEM was corroded, why wouldn't this be too? I wonder now if my car had water damage at some point. It is not the blinker relay as my hazzards DO work. Basically everything on my steering wheel does not work except turning the wheel! This issue started intermittently, and finally now is completely out...fuzes are fine. Sad to let go of a car that has been taken care of so well, has had so much replaced...what I felt was an investment for its future. I just can't see spending another $1200 for a steering wheel module hoping this is the last of it. Any other suggestions before i throw in the towel??
