2004 XC90 -Love the car- owned it for 12yrs. But it does have some quirks lately.
The passenger window stopped 3/4 down,can not operate from either Master or Passenger switch. The lock activates all locks when pressed. When you lock via key fob , all doors lock except the passenger door-the one with the stuck window....If the switch is bad,shouldnt the master switch operate it?
Any ideas?

 

Judging from what you mentioned, it could be a broken window regulator. do you hear any sound if you try to use the switch from either driver or passenger side? if not, then it could be the motor itself.

 

No sound, but the lock works.....it did go up today, It must be a loose wire , or it could have gotten some moisture from the Hurricane. Anyway it's at a point I need to sell it ,as much as I hate to....

 

my car's window is stuck as well, and it produces a funny sound, it sounded like some of mechanics are stuck, its like i hear the sound of the window winding up and down but i dont see it moving. any ideas?

 

I also have a 2004 XC90 with the same issue. The passenger window is stuck, the door doesnt lock. The sat nav and radio are also not working and the Sun roof will not work. I think it might be due to water damage i have ahd water leak into my car but i am not sure. any suggestions??/
