Unhappy XC90 - Replaced Oil Pump Seal/O-ring/Gasket: Now it will not start...

Hello Forum readers,
I recently replaced my 2005 Volvo XC90 Oil Pump Seal, Gasket and O-ring. I aligned TDC along with proper Cam Tick mark alignments. I replaced the spark plugs, just because it was due in addition to a new battery. I Assembled belts back then I removed #1 plug, then manually rotated the Cam Pulley to get some oil pumped through and to ensure everything is moving correctly. Everything rotates with no abnormal resistance. I Re-installed everything back....Its go time and all should be good....

Unfortunately the engine will not turn over..I am concerned I might have rotated something from the oil pump that I shouldn't have?, but not sure. Here is a clip of what it sounds like when trying to start it:

Thank you for any helpful suggestions.

The engine isn't timed at TDC. There is a mark on the crank you should have used, or used the special tool to pin the crank. You have no compression. Hopefully you didn't bend all your valves.

Thanks for the response. I didn't mention it previously, but in the process of aligning,I did utilized the tick marks on the Cranks to align up with marks on the cover...
So do you think I am not getting compression because my valves are probably bent? If my valves are bent would I be able to manullay rotate the Cam pully? Thanks again.

The sound in that video is no compression. Either due to bent valves or timing being off.

Are you rotating the cams with the belt off? You should always rotate the engine by the crank, not the cams.

Sounds like you might need to re-time the engine using the special tools to set up the CVVT hubs and hope no damage was done.
