Hi Everybody.
My wife was driving our 05 xc90 yesterday. She was unsure what message came up but said it was RED and mentioned DANGER and then the car just died. The engine is not seized as it still turns over. Just wondering if anybody has any ideas of what it might be.

 

Sounds like it's broken.

 

It's most likely the ecu. Car goes into limp mode, dash lights stop working, transmittion stays in high gear, air bag lights on, ect.
