Anyone know where I can find a engine for my 04 xc90 with a 5t engine.
While coming home from work oil light came on followed by a pop and engine shut off.
Checked oil is full and clean no metal when I see a rod sticking through the side of my block go figure .
Pretty much no warning anyone else here of a t5 doing this.
I have 140k miles well taken care of. so I need a new engine of short block

 

i would look on ebay. always people parting wrecked cars. there are also some european/swedish speciality junkyards you can find by googling and they often have engines in stock.
