I knew this would happen sooner or later with our lousy Michigan roads. Wife called this a.m. with two flat tires, both on same side of car. She "thinks" she may have hit a pothole. Tires are 235/45R-17, so I KNOW she hit a pothole.

Tire store told her one of the rims (Volvo rim) was somewhat bent. I haven't seen the car yet, but I assume they are telling her the truth.

Question: has anybody used that wheel repair mail order place that's in the back of car enthusiast mags? I have no interest in throwing money away, but if it really works, it has to be cheaper than replacing the bent rim.

Thanks for the information. I guess we will have to be careful. Our roads (SW MI) are no better than yours in SE MI. Our State is in a miserable state, but that is another subject.
