I just tripped a P0442 code " small evap leak" my mechanic said that he could do a smoke test but couldn't find anywhere to make the connection anyone know of a possible connection point and also where the carbon canister is on a 98 V70? Any other suggestions in solving this problem?

 

There are several junction points and vent lines - including the roll over valve. The charcoal canister is either on the left hand side, behind the front bumper, that would be a round canister. The other version is a square canister that is just in front of the gas tank on the right hand side.
