I own a 1999 volvo v70 non turbo in limp mode.codes p1059,p1017,p1021,p1025.replaced throttle body with reman from volvo and had programmed previously.ecm is turning injectors #2,#3,#5 off after start up.do i need a new computer or did i get a bad throttle body.any ideas?

 

Codes point to ETM issues but first rule out any voltage level issues by doing a simple battery voltage/alternator test. the P1025 could also suggest a MAF issue. Take a look and see if connections are good as well. Did the replacement ever work right ie did you have it reprogrammed to match your car? If not, google "ETM firmware cloning"... there's this weird thing about the immobilizer on Volvos with ETMs that shuts down the unit if it doesn't "mate" up programming wise. Not sure if that applies to your model but worth reading up on.

 

Did battery and charging system test.All good battery good,alternater good,no excessive ripple.Replacement of ETM did not work properly.I had the ETM programmed by a mobile programmer that I have always had luck with before.The MAF reads like ok on scanner,but I cannot find info on multimeter testing.Did not understand Dice clonning.Is there a cable I can get after downloading software to my laptop?
