My ETS light has been on for a while but the car ran perfect and I shut it off with my computer then I got a check engine light on and checked codes and got o2 sensor 1. Then night before I go to change it, the car ran perfect and all of a sudden it started to miss real bad and had no power. The odd part was when I pushed the throttle to the floor it would only go up to 4k then stop at 2k then go back up and back down on its own. I drove the car home and checked the spark plugs. They where black so I cleaned them and after that I started it and it ran fine. This morning I go to get the o2 sensor put on and it does it again. I limp the car to the shop he changes it and says I need plugs real bad. So I took it home cleared all the codes and cleaned the plugs again and clean the throttle body(but it wasn't really dirty) and put it all together and the same thing. Starts right up but misses real bad,has no power and idles by itself. I did pull codes when I left the shop. P1031,1027,1026,1021,and 1017. I searched on 3 different forums and found nothing. It's a 99 v70 non-turbo front wheel drive.

I searched the first two of those codes and came up with all kinds of info for both. I assume I'd have similar results for the others too. There's this page on the interweb called Google, or something like that....seems to work pretty well.

 

Yes that page web page google does work well on codes but it doesn't explain why all of the codes are going off at the same time and doesn't explain the poor running. This is why I posted this problem. If you just want to be sarcastic, there are other sites for that. Here fellow volvo owners help each other on different problems as have I done as well with other owners. Thanks for helping me find google. I didn't know there was such a site.
